James
Founder and Head Coach
Meet James, our Founder and Head Coach.
With over 16 years of coaching experience he specialises in Body transformations, Olympic Weightlifting, Gymnastics, CrossFit, HYROX, specialist areas of sport specific performance and permanent fat loss.
At his highest level he competed at the British University Championships in Olympic Weightlifting and qualified for various CrossFit competitions all over the country.
Prior to that he was a professional dancer for 7 years working with various celebrities on their live performances as a performer and choreographer.

Harriet Slade
Harriet Slade is a team GB Steeplechase athlete and Coach. Ranked 1st in her age category within Great Britain and 2nd in the World, Harriet is looking to claim her first Championship title at the 2024 World Championships games. Her hopes are to inspire others to believe in themselves and see age as a number and not a restriction.
Harriet’s career pathway has led her to go on and become and accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach, UKA athletics coach, specialising in endurance running – and Personal trainer.
Harriet believes that everyone is capable of achieving greatness with Time, Efficiency and Discipline. Where there’s a will, there’s 100% a way so believe in yourself.
Harriet works alongside youth academy athletes across multiple team sports.

Advanced Equipment
At Movement Culture we use top of the Line training equipment such as Concept 2 rowers, ski ergs, assault bikes and treadmills. We also have a wide variety of functional fitness equipment such as barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, plyometric boxes, medicine balls, bumper plates and sleds. We pride ourselves in being the only functional fitness facility with enclosed running loops and access to a running track. We are also the only Gym with a free dedicated car park. Movement Culture is fully committed to helping you become the happiest version of yourself.
Premium Amenities
Movement Culture is one of the biggest functional fitness gyms in the area. With dedicated running loops outside, the only Gym able to run full HYROX simulations in the area. With a reformer Pilates studio inside and a treatment room available too.
